First thing's first: Rocky Mountain Community Church is a church in Centennial, CO that meets on Sunday mornings at 10am.
Now that we have that over with, we're glad you are here and that you'd like to take the time to get to know more about us! We aim to give you that "home church" experience, whether through ministries like small groups that are organized by zip-code, vibrant men's/women's/children's/youth/family ministries, or just simply an engaging Sunday message.
Our mission at RMCC is to do God's will and finish His work by equipping and mobilizing people to serve. We were meant to be a people "on the move", and at RMCC we'll give you the tools to move with purpose and passion! With biblical and relevant teaching at our core, we value hospitality, service, and Christ-centered children and youth ministries. At RMCC, you will love the challenge, the authenticity, the fun, and the feel of family. You will find opportunities in a creative environment to serve others, strengthen relationships and grow deeper in your faith and connection with God.
Our attendees come from all over south Denver! Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Lone Tree, Cherry Hills, Parker, Castle Rock...and a few from beyond. We've worked hard to create a place where your whole family can come to either begin your spiritual journey or mature it as Christ intended. RMCC is a great place for people of all walks of life. We will challenge you to new levels of growth and purpose.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON A SUNDAY
Sunday 10:00am Service
Each of our Sunday morning services is unique. We try to vary the order of service, the style of worship, and the intensity or timbre of the message. That said, you can always count on a warm and hospitable environment where the Spirit of Jesus Christ is alive and well!
We always begin our morning with a time for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a friendly social atmosphere for fellowship. We place a high value on making sure that every person receives a warm welcome and at least a few kind "hellos" the first time. After the first time, you'll have made enough friends to become the greeter rather than the "greetee". Promptly on time, we begin our 1-hour service with a combination of:
- Praise and worship singing
- A Biblically-based message from the pastor
- An offering during the service, though you can give any time you feel led if it's more comfortable
- Special singing, presentations, or speakers
- Communion (about once a month)
- Baptisms and baby dedications (about once a quarter)
Other Ministries & Things Going On
- Kindling Prayer Group (open to anybody) - Before service
- Kids classes (Infants through 5th Grade)
- Youth (Grades 6 - 12th Grade) join us for worship and then head upstairs to the youth room for teaching
You can expect to meet a few people, be challenged and encouraged from God's Word, and be given opportunities to find and use your gifts and talents for God's Kingdom purposes. Our program and website are full of other ways to connect to the community at Rocky Mountain Community Church. We hope to have the chance to welcome you in-person some Sunday morning very soon!
When you come to church on Sunday, you'll certainly be amongst your neighbors and friends.
Cross Streets are Dry Creek and University Just south of Dry Creek and north of County Line located in Southglenn Square. Southglenn Square is across the street from the King Soopers, on the east side of University. You will be turning into the shopping plaza, as the church is located on the ground floor behind the plaza between Tuesday Morning and Children's Music Academy.
Finally, because finding us can be a challenge, here's a fun video we made to commemorate the fact:
